I am interested in the influence of environmental cues on tissue dynamics, particularly growth and regeneration. I am currently studying the effects of nutrients and infections on adaptive growth and epithelial turnover. The mechanisms for tissue and cellular size regulation, changes in regionalization and balance between death, proliferation and growth are some areas of interest.
